Legacy Giving

What is a Legacy Gift?

A legacy gift, often made through wills or trusts, are a donation made at a later date. Many people who want to make a meaningful donation to Chico Art Center may not be in a financial position to do so. A legacy gift helps anyone who wants to contribute to giving public access to art and art events in our community without affecting their income or financial situation. It offers tax benefits as well.

Anyone can donate, from teachers to lawyers, administrative professionals to art patrons.

Legacy gifts can be cash, the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, IRA, or 401K account or property.

Making a legacy gift by updating your will or trust or working with an estate lawyer to set one up.

Have the peace of mind in knowing that your wishes will be fulfilled, and the Center will continue to be a vital part of the Chico Community offering access to art and art events into the future.

If you have any questions, please contact the Office Manager at 530-895-8726
