Over the years I have developed several types of armatures that begin most all of my shapes. I have learned how to tear and manipulate paper into smooth contoured shapes used for muscles and form. My art ranges from very small to very large pieces. This art is very durable as well and there are no supplies to buy.

Like many Artists, I have worked in a number of mediums, however my favorite is watercolor. It's seductive qualities, illusiveness, accidental happenings, and challenges keep me coming back again and again. It is a well that never goes dry.
Local color in the form of landscapes, buildings, crops, etc... are my favorite subjects, along with the people who inhabit the area. I also enjoy painting on location and have traveled locally and in Europe for that purpose.
I have enjoyed teaching watercolor through the Chico Art Center for a number of years, and my best reward is turning out a “new” watercolor painter!
