We are happy to welcome you as a participating artist in the 2019 Open Studios Art Tour (OSAT). Last year sixty nine artists and groups signed up to be on the Tour with eleven artists who have never participated in the Tour before.

OSAT is the premiere visual arts event in our region and one which has cultivated many regular attendees over the years. It is new artists and new artwork from OSAT “regulars” that keep people coming back. And yet, there are many more people in our community who have yet to learn about the joys of going on the Open Studios Art Tour. This event is part of our ongoing commitment to increase arts awareness in our community and has always been a joint effort between artists and the Chico Art Center.  Through our advertising and promotion, we try to entice people into spending several fall weekends visiting artists in their studios and becoming better acquainted with the creative people in their midst.
