Open Studios Art Tour (OSAT)

October 17-18 & 24-25
Gallery Show Oct. 2-25

Reception Oct. 16, 5 - 7pm

Chico Art Center is proud to present the 27th annual OPEN STUDIOS ART TOUR or “OSAT”.

OSAT is the oldest and largest ART event in Butte County. This year 62 working artists will be opening up their studios for you to tour, providing not only a glimpse into the working process of this city’s best talent, but also a chance to meet the people that make Chico an Art Community. Many will be presenting demonstrations on their creative process, you will be able to see them create a work of art, and they will be happy to discuss their art, techniques and their process.

The artists will have displays of their works available for your viewing and purchase. This is a wonderful way to see the artists and art that makes Chico the art destination that it is renowned for. A relaxing weekend outing for art lovers and families.

OSAT begins with the Gallery Show at Chico Art Center, 450 Orange Street, where each participating artists has one work of art on display so that you may pick your artists to visit. The Gallery Show is October 2 – 25, with the event reception on the 16th from 5 – 7 p.m. Meet and talk with the artists at the reception.

The actual STUDIO TOUR is on two weekends, October 17 - 18, and 24 - 25th the studios are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We look forward to seeing you art this fun filled event that is attended over and over by the community.
